Dr. Marc Lehmann was already successfully involved as managing director and development manager in the establishment of two companies. He has many years of experience in the development of infectious diagnostics, in particular in the field of sepsis, and has a track record in CE-compliant product development and manufacturing. Within the scope of development, CE-marking and later marketing, he was significantly involved in the planning and execution of several clinical studies, including multi-centre studies. Dr. Lehmann is an inventor in several patents, has raised several million Euros in grants and won several innovation awards with his multinational teams.

Dr. Anja Träger – Scientific Advisor & Founder

Dr. Anja Träger is working group leader at the chair of Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert and member of the Jena Center for Soft Matter (JCSM).

Her main interest lies in the characterization and biological application of polymers and their formulations. Through her studies of biochemistry, her PhD in biotechnology, in which she dealt with the gene delivery of cationic polymers, and her close cooperation with physicians, Dr. Träger can draw on a broad knowledge in the field of applications of synthetic polymers.

Prof. Dr. Reinhard Wetzker headed the Institute of Molecular Cell Biology at the University Hospital Jena. His scientific interest is the understanding of signal transduction processes in cells and organisms. His research focuses on the function of the signaling protein phosphoinositide 3-kinase gamma in adaptive stress reactions of biological systems. Prof. Wetzker directs a graduate college of the German Research Foundation with the topic "Molecular Signatures of Adaptive Stress Responses" in Jena.
